Last night the sun set was really quite a wonder, through all the smoke. I am sure the whole area is looking forward to some rain to cool things down and to get rid of the smoke.
This morning (Monday) Bob and I took off on our bikes and road into town to get an "Economist" for him to read. It must be a big city magazine as he has not be able to find one while we have been away, today was no exception. We were glad we road in early (8 am) as it would have been too hot later in the day. Not sure how far we road but the whole trip took about an hour.
Today we walked up to the winery for lunch. The temperature was registering 110. Glad the lake was there so we could go for a swim when we came back down to the campsite.
