Spent a few days in Kelowna with the boys. It gave Stephen & Tracy a bit of a break at work with me at home with the boys.
As with the rest of the province, Kelowna was no exception - the heat was peaking out in the 40s while I was there. Tracy & I only got out for one walk, the other days after work was just too HOT.
The boys and I played mini golf and then Gramma treated them to lunch at the club house. Then it was a trip to Toysr'Us so they could spend their savings on tec deck ramps. (Don't think Mommie was too happy with their purchases).
The lake seemed like the place to be so Tuesday morning found us down there. It was a good thing we went early as by the time we left there was not a parking place to be found. At least it cooled the boys off, Gramma didn't get in as it was so rocky my poor old footsies didn't like it. That afternoon we decided to bake chocolate chip cookies on the back deck. The temperature was reading 43.3 so it only took about 2 1/2 hours to cook them.
The next day was craft day. The boys decided they were going to make more ramps for their teck decks - they were both very creative. Now they have so many ramps, not sure how their fingers will be able to play with them all.
Each evening I drove the boys to baseball practice where they were getting ready for the Provincials in Vancouver the following weekend.
